Video #6: Festival of Fantasy (Fish Eye from the Hub)

With over 100 performances and countless Disney Characters, the Magic Kingdoms “Festival of Fantasy” afternoon parade has quickly become a fan favorite.

What’s the best part?  For me the best part… It’s all new!  No recycled floats, none imported from California.. It’s all new and designed to fit Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom.  The floats are noticeably bigger and taller than any parade in WDW history.  So tall that being in the first row can be overwhelming… almost as if the parade was designed for the person standing a few people deep… lots of activity above 6 feet in the air.

In this video, I used a Fish Eye Lens and had a location directly in front of the castle, in the Fast Pass Plus viewing location.  On a side note, the location I used is currently (January 2015) under refurbishment as part of the hub expansion project.  The relocated Fast Pass Plus viewing area is in Town Square.

Sam has been visiting Walt Disney World since 1986. The spark from those early trips lead to an interest in the "How" and "Why" behind Disney Parks and Resorts and the thrill of discovering the history of how we got here today. That History is still being written. In addition to participating on The Disney Nerds Podcast you can find blogs at www.samsdisneydiary.com
