Current WDW refurbishment schedule  (Spring 2017)

Earlier this week the Disney Dining Blog released their quarterly refurbishment list. Below are the attractions and resorts that are currently scheduled to go through a refurbishment during the next few months.

Magic Kingdom:Disney’s The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour: no tours January 1-February 28, 2017.

Liberty Square Riverboat: closed January 3-January 12, 2017.

Walt Disney World Railroad: closed January 9-March 2, 2017.

Hall of Presidents: closed January 17-June 29, 2017.

Epcot:

No known current or upcoming closures.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

Club Villain: ends current run on January 27, 2017.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

Kali River Rapids: closed January 3-January 29, 2017.

Resorts

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort:

The Piano Pool will remain closed until early February, 2017. Guests are to use the Calypso Pool instead.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village:

Several floors are currently closed for refurbishment. Construction takes place 9:00am-5:00pm.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas:

Resort is currently under refurbishment. Construction, including roof refurbishment, exterior painting and pool area construction takes place 9:00am-5:00pm to minimize guest disruptions.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort:

Resort is currently under refurbishment. Construction takes place 9:00am-5:00pm.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort:

Sandcastle Pool will be closed from early January-February, 2017. Other resort pools will be open.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort:

Hippy Dippy Pool will be closed, starting early January, 2017. Guests may use the Bowling Pool instead. Starting February, 2017, maintenance will take place in some guest areas. Construction will take place 10:00am-4:00pm.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Villas:

Hidden Springs Pool, Cub’s Den, resort beach, marina, playground and other areas are closed until later in 2017. Pathways, including the nature trail, may also be closed. Construction may be heard in guest areas, but does not begin until after 9:00am. Silver Creek Springs Pool remains open.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort:

Refurbishments will take place starting in January, 2017. Construction will take place 9:00am-5:00pm.

Typhoon Lagoon

Closed until March 11,2017.
