No wonder Coke is the official soft drink of Walt Disney World. You will find all the remaining billboards on both Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards are now leased to a company. Fortunately, all these ads still retain a 1940’s look and feel.

Now for some more brick and mortar news regarding Grand Avenue. Right after the construction wall but before the entrance to Battu, you will notice freshly planted palm trees at the end of Grand Avenue. As you can see in the pictures below, Disney is putting the final touches on the corner store front. Looks like a new music store. Hopefully, this should be done early next year.

We wrap up with exciting news this week from the Star Wars planet Battu. As you can see in the photos below, there is a tree standing on the tallest structure. While some guests may equate this addition as a Christmas touch, more importantly, this tree signifies that the last piece of steel is now in place on the building. Additionally thrilling is the new lighting added on the entrance of the gateway to Battu. Unfortunately, builders have placed wood in the gateway so the view into the land is now temporarily blocked.

Hey Everyone: I have enjoyed going to the Studios faithfully twice a week since 2011. My most memorable experience was camping out in front of the main gate for each of the four Star Wars Weekends in 2015!
