2019 Grand Floridian Easter Egg Display

Every April there is a Grand tradition at Walt Disney World. It’s the Grand Floridian Easter Egg Display! This is a chance for the Bakery Staff at Walt Disney World use their skills to create these Chocolate Easter Egg decorations by hand! Personally, this is a perfect chance to see true culinary artistry at work!

This year is the 24th year of the Grand Floridian Easter Egg Display!

For the Grand Floridian Easter Egg Display, each egg is a hollow chocolate egg. They weigh about 9 to 12 pounds and stand 16 to 20 inches tall. The Disney Bakery Team is given the creative freedom to design the eggs however they want! There are Disney themed eggs, eggs featuring works of art, and many more! Each egg is only decorated with edible products which means you could eat these beautiful works of art. But why would you?!

Check out the photos of this year’s Grand Floridian Easter Egg Display and if you’re at Disney World between now and April 28th, go see them in person!

At the Front Entrance:
The Display by the elevator:
There are two eggs that are displayed on tables by themselves in the main lobby.

I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be “better” than the others but they are definitely worth showcasing solo. The detail is amazing on both!

There are three off to the side on a concierge desk to the left of the main entrance as well!

They even had a Sleeping Beauty themed egg in the M. Mouse Mercantile, the shop on the second floor to the left of the monorail entrance.

The displays for Grand Floridian Easter Eggs have gotten so large that they’ve expanded to different resorts as well! For more amazing eggs, check out Sam’s post from last year’s display at Yacht Club! Click here to check it out!
