Hollywood Studios 30th Celebration!!
Today Hollywood Studios held a celebration ceremony for its 30th Anniversary! We have the privilege of bringing you the details from this magical event.
Hollywood Studios May 1, 1989 to May 1, 2019
The day started at the entrance where it was noticeable (beyond the crowds) that there was a celebration going on! Disney’s Hollywood Studios was decked out! Luckily, we captured some of the evidence below.
Once we passed through security we were greeted by cast members. They were handing out special commemorative guide maps and pins.
The trip down Hollywood Boulevard leading up to Gramin’s Chinese Theater was fairly clear. They were starting to set up for the parade and the ceremony on the stage in the foreground.
The parade starts!
Our favorites, Mickey and Minnie make their way down Hollywood Boulevard riding in style riding.
Next, they were followed by an original attraction, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular.
Then we had Prince Eric and the Little Mermaid along with Belle and the Beast.
We wrapped up the parade with characters from Toy Story and a look at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge costumes.
After the parade, we moved on to the ceremony. Phillip Holmes, the VP of Hollywood Studios, revealed the new logo for Hollywood Studios.
What do you think??
The Disney Parks Blog captured the event perfectly! We are sharing that with you below.
On our way out of the park we were given a poster to celebrate our experience.
We hope you enjoyed the coverage and have a magical day.
