Funko announces New Merchandise for Halloween!

Last week was a big week of Funko announcements! If you are a Funko collector, known as a Funko Fanatic, then your Funko wish list grew last week. Funko announced a lot of new collections for the upcoming Halloween season to celebrate the halfway point and we want to make sure you didn’t miss any Disney or Marvel Funko announcements!

Haunted Mansion

First, we received the announcement from Disney Parks Blog, a line of Haunted Mansion Funko. Personally, I’m pretty excited about these! We’ve got one Pop as a Haunted Mansion Cast Member/Maid and Two of the characters from the stretching room that will be available on ShopDisney.com and possibly other Funko retails. The two stretching room characters, known as the Balding Man and Old Widow to some, will have chase variants available. This means that there is typically a 1 in 36 chance of you obtaining this chase version! Another Haunted Mansion Pop that will make its arrival will be the Organist and it will be exclusive to Disney Parks! Be sure to be on the lookout for this musician at Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom! If the Pops weren’t enough, there will be Mystery Minis too!

Mickey & Minnie Pops

We have also learned that Mickey and Minnie are getting all dressed up for Halloween! Mickey has his best vampire costume on and Minnie is in her witchy best. Both Pops are black and white with orange which I love. Personally, I think this has a little bit of coloring from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Hocus Pocus 3-Pack Pops

Now Minnie is not the only witch making an appearance this Halloween. The Sanderson sisters are back! For the last couple of years, they’ve done new versions of our favorite Hocus Pocus witches every Halloween and this year is no different. This year they are flying through the air and they are going to be exclusive to Books-A-Million!

NEW Nightmare Before Christmas Series

The Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, and his friends are also debuting some new Funko Pops and minis for Halloween! There will be some exclusives to Walgreens, Hot Topic, and Box Lunch. There are standard Pops of Oogie Boogie (with a Diamond look), Jack Skellington, Sally, Santa, and the Mayor. The Mayor will have a chase version and I can’t help but like the chase version better than the common version. There will be a Mystery Minis series as well as an Oogie Boogie keychain! I can’t decide which one is my favorite of this new series!

Also, for the Nightmare Before Christmas fans, Funko is adding Jack and his friends to the Funkoverse game. Funko has a strategy board game called Funkoverse which has multiple sets that can be played as standalone or combined together.

Marvel Zombies

Last but not least, some of our favorite Marvel superheroes have gone zombie for Halloween! There’s a full Marvel Zombie series which will consist of the Pops, keychains, and mystery minis. There will be exclusives to Hot Topic, Game Stop, Wal-Mart, and Entertainment Earth. I think it was a pretty interesting way to reimagine Marvel characters for Halloween and I can’t wait to see them in person!
