Changes Continue at Hollywood Studios: Vader Out, Ren in (February 6, 2016)
Changes continue at Walt Disney Worlds Hollywood Studios:
Yesterday, February 6th marked the last day for the recently opened Club Disney in the new Sunset Showcase multi purpose building after only two months of operation.
A few weeks ago, the Disney Parks Blog announced that Kylo Ren would be making an appearance in Star Wars Launch Bay in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. This morning, February 7th 2016 Kylo Ren, appeared at Launch Bay as promised; what Disney didn’t announce is that Kylo would be replacing Darth Vader on the “Bridge”. While I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of Vader in the parks, Darth Vader will be a big part of “Rogue One”, the latest Star Wars movie scheduled for theaters December 16, 2016. We may have to wait for the next opportunity to meet Darth Vader.
The Jawas who have been appearing regularly in Launch Bay have been making less appearances. The official word inside Launch Bay is that they became stuck in a sand storm. That appears to have been temporary as they are appearing this morning. Be sure to take your items to “barter”.
Meanwhile, near The Streets of America, a new service directory was installed “Directory Services by The Tablet & Ticket Company” PAT No. 19700822, 1021 W. Adams Street, Chicago, IL, Office Space for Rent, Call 637-8581 SEE 204. The directory lists numerous names and businesses. Did New York Street move to Chicago? And what exactly is the significance of 1021 W Adams Street? It is a real address but quite a distance from the Walt Disney Birthplace at 2156 N. Tripp Ave. I can’t wait to get the details on not only the address, but the list of businesses and tenants, do you know the significance of the address or any of the names? Leave a comment below.
