Cars 3: Road to the Races Experience
Drivers!!!!!!! Start your engines!!!!!!
Racing fans around the world were thrilled to experience the movie Cars when it was first released back in 2006 and, of course, Cars 2 in 2011. This year, on June 16, Disney and Pixar will finally release the continued storyline of Lightning McQueen in the much anticipated Cars 3.
I recently had the privilege of experiencing the cross country tour of Road to the Races Cars 3 experience when it stopped in Somerville, Massachusetts (Boston).
As I waited in line to enter the experience I saw some great posters of the new characters that will be joining us on this adventure.
Upon entering, I was able to enjoy some of what the vendors had to offers including snacks, coloring stations and a virtual picture with Lightning McQueen.
I was also able to enjoy the unique experience of catching a sneak peek of the new movie inside one of the trailers at the event. I wish I was able to get video of the sneak peek but I was able to sneak a quick picture from inside the trailer.
The sneak peek included commentary from John Lassetor and the Director, Brian Fee. We also saw pieces of the story line as well as a 7 to 8 minute clip of the movie.
And of course, the tour wouldn’t be complete without meeting our favorite characters in the new film. Here are Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm.
And of course, no Cars experience is complete without our favorite Piston Cup Champion, Lightning McQueen.
Based on what I saw, I think the new characters mixed with the great storyline of Lightning McQueen will provide a great experience for young and old.
Below is the link for the road to the races dates. I would recommend that you attempt to get advance tickets that allows you entry at a specific time. If not you’ll have to wait in line and I imagine that line can get incredibly long. I hope you can catch this in a city near you.
