What’s New At The Studios – January 9th 2018
The New Year is underway, winter weather has arrived, and glad you are back for the latest Studios update!
Progress is visible with construction activity galore near the second Studios entrance off of Lake Buena Vista Drive where packed resort buses, as well as many visitors, descend upon the Park. Preparations are proceeding to pave this future vehicle route to provide more lanes for a much needed additional Park exit. Could this escape road end some of those horrific backups at Park closing? This should be just in time to handle the big crowds when Park makeovers are completed. Visit Legends Of Hollywood Theater on Sunset Blvd for a brand new shipment of Star Wars goodies. From original trilogy shirts to porgs sweaters, new items await shoppers. Be sure to look for the “These are not the droids” mugs and take a few home. Hold on – more Disney merchandise news. At the Carthay Circle, Santa Clause meet and greet is now completely packed up and headed back to the North Pole. In its place the Beauty and the Beast merchandise is back on store shelves. Also, with the retreat of Christmas ornaments, Stitch has appeared with cool light up fidget and spinner toys. Don’t forget a 2018 key chain, if you still have money left! Toy Story Land builders apparently added wheels on their recently painted gate. Could after hours construction types and their equipment be making their way into the Land through this passage way under cover of night? The popular holiday tag you hopefully enjoyed this season at The Frozen Sing A Long has ended. The Royal Historians and other favorite actors are now back to the original show script. What would Grand Avenue be without something else new. There is now a pop-up store intended to delight shoppers seeking Galaxy Edge merchandise. Similar items still entice guests in Tatooine Traders as mentioned in last week’s update. For night time enjoyment, new lighting can be seen on top of The Grand Loft Apartments. It’s mission: to light the Galaxy Edge photo drop. Check out Once Upon a Time Travel.
May The Force Be With You!
