What’s New At The Studios! – February 27th 2018

Welcome back to our weekly look at what’s new at the studios!

As you heard in Show # 224 of the Disney Nerds Podcast, “Johnny Hollywood” will continue to bring you updates from the DHS.  You can look forward to all of our Johnny Hollywood posts every other week as we move on.  Once we get closer to the openings of the different lands, we’ll jump back onto the every week updates.

The Big news, of course, this week, is we now have an opening date for Toy Story Land!  Saturday, June 30th.  Here’s to many early opening days!

It looks like we had a couple Disney Nerds in training trying to get a sneak peek of the new Toy Story Land.

The next thing we want to do this week is take a look at all the space that is opening up around Star Tours and the corner heading around to Rizzo’s and the Muppets.

 

And another wider look at the new entrance to the Star Wars Land, Galaxy’s Edge.  Can’t wait for that.  Did anyone notice the huge smoking area to the right of the entrance?

As we finish up for this week I want to bring you a couple new shots of the Star Wars construction.  First, we have the view coming in on the Cruise bus.  The second view is just over the exit of Muppets.
