Disney Villains Are Coming to Disney After Hours This Summer!
It looks like the extremely popular event, Disney After Hours, is getting an upgrade! This summer, Disney After Hours will be taken over by Villains! From June 6 through August 8th, you’re invited to get a little wicked after hours!
Disney After Hours is an extra ticketed event that offers low wait time to your favorite attractions and experiences. Since there are fewer people in the park. Just as the name suggests, this event happens after the park closes. The Disney Villians edition will take place in the Magic Kingdom and grants entry as early as 7 pm. This allows ticket holders for this event a chance to still experience fireworks before enjoying the low lines for attractions. Guests attending Disney After Hours also get novelties like ice cream, popcorn, and select bottled beverages included in the cost of their tickets.
With the Villians coming this summer, this also means new enhancements for their special event!
According to Disney Parks Blog, here’s what we can expect:
- A Brand-New Disney Villains Stage Show- Hades and Meg from “Hercules” will set the castle stage ablaze in this all-new stage show, Villains Unite the Night, which will also feature appearances by Jafar, The Queen, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent.
- Spot Maleficent the Dragon- Maleficent the Dragon, with her Steampunk style and signature wicked grin, will be let loose for the first time at night – breathing fire as she creeps through the park as a one-of-a-kind experience for party guests.
- Villainous Enhancements- Discover surprising, villain-inspired additions at Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain.
- Wickedly Good Food & Beverage- A variety of special food & beverage offerings will also be available for purchase, including tasty desserts, drinks, and dishes inspired by The Queen, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Hades, Dr. Facilier and even Emperor Zurg.
- Event Merchandise- Event attendees can also purchase new logo merchandise, as well as items from a curated collection of the best Disney Villains merchandise available.
- One Notorious Item to Note- Ever driven to stand out in their unpredictable and audacious fashion, while the Villains will be entertaining guests in the new stage show, they will not be participating in character greetings during the event.
Another exciting part of this special Disney After Hours is you can dress up like your favorite villain!
As we mentioned, Disney Villians After Hours is an extra ticketed event. Tickets are $139 plus tax in advance and $144 plus tax on event night. Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club Member will get a $30 discount with their tickets costing $109 plus tax. Tickets for this summertime event will go on sale April 19th.
