NEW Fireworks for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween
Even though we’re just getting into thinking about summer, Disney is already talking Halloween Party!
Yes! According to Disney Parks Blog, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is getting some new fireworks! The fireworks show HalloWishes has been a staple of the party for 14 years. But now it’s time for a new show which will include projections on the castle.
The show will tell a story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. It will take guests along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they go trick-or-treating. They are drawn to a mysterious haunted house and the journey continues as they go inside! The will explore the rooms of the house and encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts, and of course some Disney villains!
But don’t worry, the ever popular “Hocus Pocus Villan Spectacular” which is the stage show in front of the castle will be back this year. The Sanderson Sisters and some Disney villains aren’t going anywhere!
Other returning favorites are:
- “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” which happens twice nightly and features favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best, along with the Disney villains and a cavalcade of fiendishly fun floats.
- Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam in Fantasyland is the spot for all of the young partygoers to get their groove on with favorite Disney Junior characters like Doc McStuffins and Vampirina.
- In Frontierland, prospector Cactus-Flower Cate rounds up youngsters for the “Frontierland Costume Promenade,” encouraging them to show off their costumes in a quest for the greatest treasure in the land – candy! The “Frontierland Costume Promenade” takes place just prior to each run of Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.
- Trick-or-treating throughout the park!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party happens on select nights from August 16th through November 1st. Tickets start at $79 and are based on which night you choose.
