Eat beignets at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
Beignets have played a part in Mardi Gras celebrations for centuries. Though they haven’t been around at Walt Disney World for quite as long, they’re the quintessential treat for celebrating Mardi Gras here. You can find these delectable doughnuts at Scat Cat’s Club – Cafe.
Create your own Mardi Gras bicycle parade
No floats? No problem! Your family can become its own parade by renting bicycles at both of Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts. You can take a spin on two wheels or four – surrey bikes are also available at the Riverside Levee Marina. Be sure to wear purple, green and gold to really get in the spirit!
