Recap of Disney Thrills Event at Walt Disney World

It’s time for some Thrills and Disney is full of them!

Last week, I was honored to represent The Disney Nerds Podcast at the All The Disney Thrills Event at Walt Disney World. It was a jammed pack event full of lots of news about what’s coming for Walt Disney World. So let’s dive in!

First, TRON Lightcycle Power Run

We all know that the most exciting thing coming to Walt Disney World is TRON Lightcycle Power Run. This is the fastest attraction at Walt Disney World and officially opens on April 4th. I had the opportunity to ride it and all I can say is WOW! This is an amazing attraction that puts you in “the grid.” You board a lightcycle (or modified roller coaster car if you’re not able to ride a lightcycle) and you are a part of Team Blue as you fight for the users! This is a must-ride attraction for ANY thrill seeker!

The merchandise is available in the Tomorrowland Launch Depot (the gift shop beside Space Mountain).

Next, Photopass

Disney’s Photopass has some great experiences coming to Walt Disney World and they’re not all just TRON related!

What’s Next For Walt Disney World

I spoke with Disney Public Relations while at the event last week and it seems like there is no shortage of thrill coming to the parks. We had news break last week about new characters coming, new dining, and more!

It seems like there is a lot to be excited about at Walt Disney World! Personally, I can’t wait to experience ALL THE DISNEY THRILLS!
