The fiesta has officially begun here at Walt Disney World Resort! With Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month starting today, we’ve got even more new things you can experience to continue the party all month long – and beyond!
Música for All: Catch a Live Stream of Bacilos Sept. 18
As we previously shared, several Latin and Hispanic artists will perform as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE. But even more exciting: I’m super feliz to share that we will live stream the performance of renowned Latin American band Bacilos on Sept. 18 at 6:45 p.m. ET. You can view it on the Disney World Latino Facebook page and @DisneyWorld.Latino Instagram account.
The Latin GRAMMY-award-winning group has captivated listeners during its 20-year career with hits like “Caraluna” and “Mi Primer Millón.” Band members André Lopes and Jorge Villamizar are ecstatic to compartir their Latin pop sounds with guests on the America Gardens Theatre stage at EPCOT.
Memories for a Lifetime: Capture Special Photo Moments
What’s a trip to Walt Disney World without photos? During this month-long celebration, Magic Shots and Disney PhotoPass Lenses* featuring friends from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” and Disney/Pixar’s “Coco” are available at select locations throughout the resort. With these incredible enhancements, you can step into a Luisa Magic Shot and strike your most powerful pose, or be un poco loco with Miguel and Dante. Use #TogetherWeAreMagia to share your #DisneyFamilia adventures using the Magic Shots and Disney PhotoPass Lenses on all your social media platforms!
You and your familia y amigos can also capture a special moment with the newly installed step-in “Encanto” frame at the entrance of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Featuring Antonio and his animal amigos, the new photo opp is an enchanting addition to the park.
Merchandise, Food and More
Speaking of the magic of the Madrigals, you’ll find lively new “Encanto” merchandise to take home. From ear headbands to Spirit Jerseys, there is something for everyone in your familia! Sir Mickey’s at Magic Kingdom Park has a vibrant selection of “Encanto” merchandise to choose from, and you’ll find many of the items at other merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Make sure to get your fantastical gear before heading over to the magical casita in Fairytale Garden to meet Mirabel!
