Welcome back Nerds to a fresh look at all that’s new here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We have a lot to cover this week so fasten your Starspeeder 1000 seat belt as we move into hyperdrive!
Calling all Annual Passes holders…you can pick up a free Annual Pass Christmas magnet now through December 19th. Stop by either Mickey’s of Hollywood, Celebrity 5 & 10, or Once Upon A Time stores. Make sure you have your passholder card and a photo ID. Whether on your car bumper or kitchen refrigerator, this magnet will look great.
Meanwhile, the case of the missing wood and concrete sidewalk benches that were removed from Sunset Blvd. for better viewing of Sunset Seasons Greetings has been solved! They now have magically reappeared on Grand Avenue. Enjoy a seat your next park visit if you care to view the building facade…. and remember the good ole Streets of America!!
With the Crait debuted in Star Tours three weeks ago, the banners outside of Star Tours attraction are now changed from Jakku to Crait. A colorful addition and taste of what guests can expect on their travel aboard the Starspeeder 1000.
We wrap up with exciting news this week from the Star Wars planet Battu. As you can see in the photos below, there is a tree standing on the tallest structure. While some guests may equate this addition as a Christmas touch, more importantly, this tree signifies that the last piece of steel is now in place on the building. Additionally thrilling is the new lighting added on the entrance of the gateway to Battu. Unfortunately, builders have placed wood in the gateway so the view into the land is now temporarily blocked.
Do yourself a favor and check out my friends at Once Upon a Time Travel on Facebook. These travel experts are the best at making any Orlando vacation dream a reality.
Hey Everyone: I have enjoyed going to the Studios faithfully twice a week since 2011. My most memorable experience was camping out in front of the main gate for each of the four Star Wars Weekends in 2015!
Love the touch of the Christmas Tree high atop Galaxy Edge. Keep the reports coming!!!
Yes, progress is always a good sign with Galaxy Edge. Thank you for reading!
