Being the Disney Nerd that I am, when I see a sign that says “Walt Disney Archives” with a directional arrow, I will follow it.  The Walt Disney Archives was established in 1970 to collect, preserve and make available for research the historical materials relating to Walt and the company he founded.  In the Celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Becky Cline, the Director of the Disney Archives, was more than happy to share a small piece of the Walt Disney World Archive collection.

As you enter Walt Disney World’s Disney Hollywood Studios, you arrive on Hollywood Blvd, and the Hollywood that always was, but never will be. The golden age of Hollywood 1920s/30s and Mickey Mouse is a Star, ever since steamboat willy in 1928, people have been lining up to see Mickey on the big screen. The theater is about to host the World Premier of Mickey’s latest short, “Perfect Picnic,” And you are just in time to experience it first hand. For more details on the attraction, be sure to check out my “the story behind Mickey and minnies runaway railway video.” The best way to experience this attraction is first hand; things are happening all around you.
