CONFIRMED: Russell and Dug Show Coming to Animal Kingdom!
It’s always fun to countdown to the holidays, and when Disney is involved in the countdown it’s even better. The D23s 23 Days of Giveaways, 12 Walt Disney World Christmas Must Do List and Disney Parks and resorts 12 Days of Announcements have kept us on our toes here at the Disney Nerds Podcast!
We have seen concept art for the new Caribbean Beach Resort and a closer look at Mickey’s Skyliner.
This morning we learned that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting in on the new announcements, just in time to celebrate Animal Kingdom’s 20th anniversary. A new show featuring Russell and Dug from Pixar’s “UP” will be arriving in “Spring 2018”
Russell and Dug will discover amazing winged creatures in the Caravan Theater in Anandapur village. The new Theater will be located in the current “Flight of Wonder” location. Disney also confirmed that Flights of Wonder would conduct it’s final performance on December 21, 2017.
