Hollywood Studios Expands After Hours Events – Studios 30 & May the 4th

Walt Disney World Hollywood Studios just announced special “After Hours Studios Events” that will run through June 28th.   The first event will be Wednesday, May 1, 2019 a Celebration of Hollywood Studios 30th anniversary.   The Second, Star Wars event will be Saturday, May 4th – May the 4th be with you.

The May 1st Event will celebrate three decades worth of movie magic and superheroic action.  Special meet and greets will include Disney, Pixar and Star Wars Characters with select attractions open with little to no waiting including The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Toy Story Land attractions and more.  Your ticket will also get you access to an encore performance of “Wonderful World of Animation” exclusively for event attendees along with special 30th-anniversary merchandise, food, and beverage.

May the 4th be with you!  A special Star Wars Celebration will include special character meet and greets with Chewbacca with Rey, Kylo Ren with Captain Phasma and more at the park, along with May the 4th themed merchandise.

Disney Parks Blog also announced that events will continue every Friday until June 28th, details to follow.  All events require a special Disney After Hours ticket on top of your daily admission, tickets are $125 in advance and $129 day-of.  Some discounts including DVC and AP may apply.
