Disney Nerds Recommendations on Disney Plus!

Hi ya pals!  It’s been a while.  So many great things happening in the world of Disney!   Holidays, parties, finally some great weather in Florida, and what I’m most excited about is Disney +.

Disney + has taken the country by storm.  There were over 10 million subscribers on last Tuesday.  That’s not counting those of us who subscribed before November 12th!  If anyone has ever doubted everyone’s love for Disney, this would be a true testament as to why they continue to be the leader in the industry!

Disney + debuted on Tuesday, November 12th.  So much great viewing, way too much time on my hands.  I work from home, so naturally, my iPad is set on top of my laptop and is always on Disney +.  While everyone has been watching stuff like Imagineering and Mandalorian, I personally have been taking a walk down memory lane and getting all nostalgic.

Disney + has something for literally everyone.  My daughter has been watching Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens, and That’s So Raven.  No doubt she’s a 90’s kid.  As for me, of course, the first movie I watched was Avengers: Endgame.  This has to be my favorite movie of all time, I’m also a huge MCU fan.  I’ve watched a few times actually.  Of course, I watched what everyone is talking about, Mandalorian and Imagineering. But my favorite part of this new streaming service is the fact that I get to watch all of the movies that I grew up with such as, Mary Poppins, Polyanna, and The Parent Trap.  I plan on revisiting all of the movies that I grew up watching.  Pete’s Dragon, Apple Dumpling Gang, 101 Dalmatians just to name a few.  This also gives me the opportunity to watch all of my MCU movies in order again, and free space up on my DVR.   Make no mistake about it, though I plan on watching a lot of the special shows as well, one of the shows/shorts I’ve started watching is Mickey Mouse Through the Years, which include Steamboat Willie which is also one of my favorites.

What are some of your favorites?  Have you watched them yet?  Happy watching…
