Celebrate Earth Day on Disney Plus!

In honor of Earth Day today, we thought we’d share some of the great nature movies/documentaries/shows available on Disney Plus!

Disney Plus is really one of the best selection of titles since you have Disney Nature and National Geographic films available!

The first thing you can do is check out the Earth Month collection which can be found in your search option. The Earth Month collection features both Disney Nature and National Geographic films that are perfect to check out and get started!

Looking for what’s new?

Then be sure to check out the latest Disney Nature films, “Elephants” and “Dolphin Reef.” Both released exclusively to Disney Plus last month! “Elephants” follows a baby elephant and his mom, along with their herd, through Africa. “Dolphin Reef” a young dolphin exploring his world with his family. Each film showcases these beautiful animals and an up-close view on their lives. If you’re interested in how the filmmakers got these beautiful images then be sure to also check out the making of films for each one, “In The Footsteps of Elephant” and “Diving with Dolphins.”

Looking for Inspiration?

I recommend watching “Jane Goodall: The Hope.” She’s probably one of the most recognized activists around. The National Geographic documentary follows her around so you can see her work and hear more of her message.

Want to plan a future nature trip?

Right now, traveling is out of the question but once everything starts up again we know you’ll be looking for a vacation. And if you’re not going to take a Disney vacation (silly question, I know) then why not a trip to one of our countries’ national parks! National Geographic’s docuseries “America’s National Parks” will fit the bill! Eight episodes each featuring a different national park like the Everglades and the Grand Canyon!

There are so many nature titles to choose from, I’m sure there’s something for the whole family. You can choose from titles like:

National Geographic

  • “Into the Grand Canyon”
  • “Earth Live”
  •  “Drain the Oceans”
  • “Giants of the Deep Blue”
  •  “Hostile Planet”
  • “Kingdom of the White Wolf”
  • “Man Among Cheetahs”
  • “One Strange Rock”
  •  “Planet of the Birds”

  •  “Winged Seduction: Birds of Paradise”
