Disneyland and Walt Disney World Requiring Face Masks Indoors Again

Today an official announcement from Disney Parks was released stating that face masks will be required for everyone over the age of 2 when indoors. This change in policy is for all guests and cast members regardless of vaccination.

Here is the official announcement:

We are adapting our health and safety guidelines based on guidance from health and government officials, and will require Cast Members and Guests ages 2 and up, to wear face coverings in all indoor locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort beginning Friday, July 30regardless of vaccination status. At Walt Disney World Resort, this includes upon entering and throughout all attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles, including shuttles, buses, monorails and at Disney Skyliner.

Disney does have sites specifically for Walt Disney World and Disneyland for further information for any upcoming trips.

Even though this isn’t the news that we want to hear, we must keep in mind that Disney is taking these safety measures with great care and with the thought of us as guests and the cast members in mind.
