Disney in A Day and a Half!

My family and I planned an impromptu mini-trip to Disney World and were amazed at how much we got done! Here’s how the trip looked!

There were 3 of us total: myself, my boyfriend, and my 9-year old daughter! We left our home destination at 9 PM. We arrived at Disney’s Good Neighbor Resort, the B Resort and Spa, around midnight and was settled into our room around 12:30 AM. Our mini-trip Day 1 began at Hollywood Studios!

8:43 AM Hollywood Studios

Before arriving to Hollywood Studios, I was able to book a Rise of the Resistance boarding group pass. This was done at 7 AM before anyone else was awake. We then got ready and took an Uber to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We arrived at Hollywood Studios at 8:43 AM just in time for their 9 AM opening! Our leisurely ride line up was fantastic!

At this point, we decided to cancel our boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance and decided to head over to another park! So we hopped on the Skyliner and parked hopped over to Epcot!

2 PM Epcot

We were torn in deciding if we wanted to check our World Showcase and enjoy Food & Wine or continue with our ride-tour. However, with such low wait times, we decided to go straight to the rides!

At this point we had to decide if we wanted to ride The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Test Track. Although the wait time was very low (5 minutes) for Nemo, I knew I would end up spending hours in the aquarium so we decided to skip that ride. We also opted out of Test Track and decided to head to the next park on our list!

5:43 PM Magic Kingdom

We finally made it to our final destination for day one and it was as magical as ever! We took the monorail directly from Epcot to Magic Kingdom and were greeted with fall décor and so excited to ride at least, the three mountains!

We left Magic Kingdom shortly after 8 PM because we had a dining reservation at Ohana’s and we also wanted to watch Happily Ever After from the resort firework viewing location! So we took a resort ferry over to the Polynesian!

8:46 PM Polynesian Resort

Dinner at Ohana was absolutely delicious and overwhelmingly full! We enjoyed watching Happily Ever After from the resort, we had live entertainment as we ate as we were serenaded by a ukulele. During dinner, I did get very cold, but I quickly remembered I had just bought a new zip-up hoodie and was very excited to wear it! We took an Uber back to our resort directly from the Polynesian and could not be more excited to go sleep!

8 AM Animal Kingdom

We arrived at Animal Kingdom as early possible and were very tired! Today was our half day at the parks since we had an afternoon flight return home so we knew we had to begin our ride-tour early!

By 1 pm, we took an Uber back to our resort to pick up our luggage and head to MCO to return home. We had so much fun and although it was a short trip, we hit all 4-theme parks and rode over 20 rides in just 1 1/2 days!
