This summer’s runDisney Virtual Series announced today!
There seems to be a bit of a chill in the air as RunDisney just announced the theme for this summer’s virtual races series. This year we’re going Frozen!
The summer series will consist of three races, each a 5k, and will begin in June and end in August. Now, you can choose to register for just one race or all 3. If you choose to register for all 3 races, there is a challenge medal to go with the three that you’ll earn.
But let’s take a look at the theme!
The first race is called “The Original Classic” and is themed after the first Frozen film. Your medal will feature Kristoff and Sven in a snowy wonderland!
The second race is called “The Heroic Sequel” and is themed after the second Frozen film. This medal is designed featuring the beloved sisters, Anna and Elsa in their costumes from Frozen II.
The third race is called “The Broadway Hit” and is themed after the Broadway adaptation of Frozen. The medal for this race is designed after the Broadway hit’s poster.
Lastly, if you do the challenge of all three races, you will receive the 4th medal featuring everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf! Olaf is enjoying the summer sun in this medal which is perfect for the summer virtual series!
General Registration opens April 5, 2022, at 10:00 AM EST. Now, if this race is like any other virtual series, it is sure to sell out. If you’re interested in this race series be sure to register early!
