Disney Nerds Crafty: planDisney Shares Tangled-Inspired Vacation Countdown DIY

planDisney and Disney Parks Blog shared a craft in honor of World Princess Week today. We thought it was a wonderful one to share with our fellow Disney Nerds! Enjoy:

 

Dreaming of your next Disney vacation? At planDisney, we always are! To celebrate World Princess Week, we’ve created a downloadable activity for your family to enjoy in honor of the ultimate dreamer, Rapunzel, from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Tangled.” Get excited as you count down the days to your upcoming Disney trip by forming a lantern filled with your vacation dreams!

Download a copy of the lantern template here.

STEP 1: Print out the template on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper.

STEP 2: Use scissors to cut out the lantern along the dotted line.

STEP 3: On the back of the paper, write down your dreams and wishes for your upcoming Disney vacation.

STEP 4: Glue or tape the edges of the lantern together, covering the shaded area.

STEP 5: Place over a flameless, LED tea light candle.

STEP 6: Take photos of your lantern and share them by using #planDisney and #WorldPrincessWeek.
