Conceal, Don’t Feel: A Twisted Tale- A Disney Nerds Book Review

In the next Twisted Tale, things get a little Frozen. We head over to Arindelle for “Conceal, Don’t Feel” by Jen Calonita. In this installment, we ask ourselves the question, “What if Elsa and Anna never knew each other?”

In this story, Anna and Elsa don’t know each other but there are still sisters. Elsa is still raised in the castle by the king and queen while Anna lives with a baker and his wife in a village outside of town. Anna dreams of going to Arenelle when she’s older and feels like a part of her is missing. Elsa is trying to stifle her powers but eventually, they are found out. Elsa runs away and Anna feels like she can help even though she’s never met Elsa (or has she?).

I enjoyed this installment of this series. It was nice to see that sometime sisterly bonds are so strong even when you don’t realize you have a sister. We also get to see what Anna’s life would be like if she wasn’t a princess. It’s nice to see that her personality isn’t changed much.

I would recommend this one to any fan of Frozen or this Twisted Tale Series!
