Celebrating 626 Day with the Reveal of the Challenge Theme for the 2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend!

Calling all runDisney ‘ohana! Today’s an out-of-this-world celebration of everyone’s favorite trouble-making space invader: Experiment 626, Stitch! That’s right, it’s Stitch Day, also known as June 26 and with a mischievous alien-turned-pet such as Stitch, there’s sure to be surprises around every turn. Speaking of surprises, we thought what a perfect occasion it would be to share a little surprise of our own – the challenge theme for the 2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend!

Say “aloha” to Stitch’s ‘Ohana Challenge, just one of the exciting events coming to the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend. Inspired by Disney Animation’s Lilo & Stitch, challenge participants will blast off to the finish line of all three races during the weekend – the 5K, 10K and 10-Miler – and be rewarded with a special medal that celebrates the magic of being together.

In April of 2024, get ready to embrace the adventure during the 2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend where participants can run exciting races, meet enchanting characters and embark on magical journeys through the Walt Disney World Resort. And because adventures are best shared with your crew, be sure to grab family and friends for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
