Candlelight Processional Narrators Announced for Select Dates
There is no place better than Epcot during the holidays. Can you believe we are 5 short months until the start of the Candlelight Processional? This year is flying by! The dates for this moving event runs from November 29-December 30. In addition to the Candlelight Processional, there is also Christmas stories at each country in World Showcase as well as savory treats at Holiday Kitchens throughout the park.
The Candlelight Processional is held in the America Gardens Theatre and is a cherished part of the Walt Disney World Holiday season. This even has a live orchestra, massed choir and a celebrity narrator in the retelling of the traditional Christmas story in a spectacular and heartwarming performance. Seriously if you’ve never had the opportunity to see this it is such a moving performance.
Here is the line-up of celebrity narrators confirmed to date, stay tuned for updates as additional narrators are announced:
- Whoopi Goldberg – 12/06-12/07
- Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
- Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
- Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26
The Candlelight Processional is performed three times per night at 5:00, 6:45, and 8:15 p.m. and guaranteed seating is available by booking a breakfast, lunch or dinner Candlelight Processional Dining Package at select Epcot restaurants. Availability is limited and advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.
