Disney Nerds Collection Corner: Loungefly

You’re telling me there’s more things to collect?

Collecting Disney items is just part of being a Disney Nerd. There are so many items you can collect, from art paintings to figurines and so much more. I personally love purchasing art to add to my collection each time I go to the park. One of my less costly collections is purses and wallets by a company called Loungefly.

How much is this new addiction going to cost me?

Let’s be honest… spending $300+ on a Dooney and Bourke or a Coach, is not the best addiction to have. While they are amazing, I like to view that $300 as park tickets or a night at WDW. Keep in mind, with higher prices is better quality. So I suggest not comparing quality of those higher end ones to Loungefly.

What makes Loungefly so special?

Loungefly has a very wide collection of Disney products. What’s nice is that there is not a million of each item. For example, my first mini Loungefly backpack is no longer sold in stores. You do not have a high chance of seeing many people with the same Loungefly product. Which is why I love collecting these products. I am the type of person who seeks out items that are 1 of 1000.

Where can I get Loungefly products?

You can find them in a variety of places, stores like Hot Topic and Box Lunch for example. Every once in awhile I go onto Ebay and see what other Loungefly products people are re-selling. Sometime you can get lucky and find the one you wish you purchased awhile back. Your best option is in the Disney Parks. When you go to merchandise shops you can find exclusive Loungefly products. I went to the Contemporary Hotel’s Bay View gift shop and found many different options.

Always keep your eye out if you choose to start this collection. My advice will be this, if you see it and like it… GET IT. It will not be available for long!
