Disney Announces Galaxy’s Edge Opening Dates

Today was the Walt Disney Company Annual Meeting of ShareHolders.  This meeting is usually the boring number crunching for the year, but it is also only second to D23 for getting new park information and today is no exception.

The opening dates for Galaxy’s Edge, the new Star Wars land that is coming to both Florida and California has been announced.  We already knew Ca. was coming this Spring, but the announcement of the WDW opening put some rumors to bed.

Anaheim gets it first with an opening date of May 31, 2019

Florida follows with an opening date of August 29, 2019

Of course, any date given now can be changed, but Disney does everything they can to not make changes to announced dates.  We will see.
