New ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Inspired Bar and Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney has announced some changes to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The area known as Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s will be a re-imagined lounge. It will be inspired by the live-action “Beauty and the Beast” film. The new lounge will feature four unique spaces inspired by Belle and the Beast.

The signature bar will feature a magnificent gold chandelier that will take its inspiration from Belle’s flowing ball gown. There will also be subtle nods to the Beast’s magical rose. The second room will be a formal library. The library will showcase the classical baroque designs and French furnishings inspired by Belle. Beast’s friends will also have a presence in the room. Another room will be the garden room. This room will be a whimsical space that will draw on inspiration from the enchanted forest around Beast’s castle. The fourth space will be an outdoor patio which will showcase the romance of Beast’s garden terrace.

The re-imagined lounge will come to life this fall and we are excited to have the chance to relax after a day in the parks in this new space. Am I the only one wondering if there will be featured drinks inspired by the film and the characters?
