Why Vacation with Disney?

As an extreme Disney nerd myself, I catch myself in conversations with non Disney fanatic’s. I always get asked “Why Disney? Why do you go to the same place so often?” I also tend to get “That place is over priced and too crowded.” I have so much love in my heart for Disney that it breaks when I know others have not experienced it in the right light. Where else in the world can you go to Germany, France, Canada, and Mexico in the same day?! So here are some common questions and my responses to those!

“Disney is for kids, last thing I want is to deal with is a million children on my relaxing vacation.”

Adults who did not grow up with Disney, often tend to overlook everything Disney has to offer. From catching a game at the Boardwalk, to getting a spa day at the Grand Floridian, Disney has so much to offer adults.

For those who love golf WDW is your place to go. Disney has 4 beautiful golf courses that can put your skills to the test. If golf is not your game, but you rather watch it, take a walk on down to the Boardwalk’s ESPN Club where you can catch your favorite team while having a beer too!

“Alright, my significant other is spending all day on the course and I could use a little TLC…” Well call up Sense at the Grand Floridan and get any spa service you can imagine! Then head on over to Disney Springs for all your shopping needs! From Kate Spade New York to Tren-D, you cannot go wrong. Make sure you have a Disney Visa card to get those discounts!

After watching some fireworks at Magic Kingdom and sharing a kitchen sink, continue your night on with some music and dancing! Head on over to Disney Springs at pop into The Edison for hand-crafted cocktails and live music. If you are wanting a little more intimate one on one, check out Enzo’s Hideaway.

Oh! One of my favorite hidden gems is the Amphicar Tours… The picture says it all!

“I took my kids there once, and it was insane! We had to wait forever to do anything!”

This one is easy. It’s all about the time of year you go. This is why I always suggest those who have this issue, to hit up a Disney Vacation Planner! Jimmy is the man to talk to! He can help you plan your vacation that will best fit your needs. There are peaks and valleys to the crowds at Disney.

Those who do not plan ahead or take holiday’s or school breaks in consideration, will run into the issue of large crowds.

Alright, well that’s all good info but how can I afford to go?!

This is another tough topic, seeing how prices keep rising. On our live show with Jimmy and Lisa, they touched on this topic. They had many great points… If you want to go see a professional sporting event you look at $100-$300 a seat easily. Not only that, but you pay for overpriced food and drink. By the time the night is over you’ve spent $500+ after tickets, food, and parking… the list goes on.

Here’s another example for you… If you are looking to get a beach house rental for $250 a night for five nights that is $1,250 total. That is not including your food or activities. Value resorts at Disney can range from $100 to $150 depending on the time of the year. If you play your cards right, Disney sometimes offers free dining!

Another point they made during the live show is that, once you pay your entrance ticket into the park, that is it! You have access to all the rides, shows, parades, and more! While there are special ticketed events, you have hours and hours of things to do in the parks. It will take you days to explore all the things Disney offers in their parks! You will never have a bored moment. It’s without a doubt worth the ticket price. While their prices rise they also keep opening more and more rides and shows!

Disney always has some sort of offer going on that helps you price your vacation. Hit Jimmy up at Welcome Home Travel Co, and he can help you!

What can I say, Walt Disney World has it all…

From exotic food and drinks, unique show, and rides for every age. There is only one place in the world you can live in the past, present, and future. There is something for everyone at Disney. While yes, it is not cheap, you have to look for the value of your dollar. No where else can you get access to so many things. WDW is not just for children, adults can have a fantasy getaway as well.

You just have to have the right guide to help you out. Once you contact your Disney travel agent, you are moments away from a vacation to remember forever. So do not miss out on awesome memories due to not knowing what is available.

I would not trade anything in the world for my amazing memories from Disney World over the last 24 years. They shaped me into the dreamer I am today.

Because…
