Disney + Offers Fireworks Magnifique Disneyland Paris Illuminations

Hellooooo Disney Nerds.  I’ve got a great recommendation for you as we ride out the Pandemic.  The Disney + Channel has a very cool offering that everyone needs to check out if you’ve been missing your park fireworks.  For this special pre-recorded viewing of “Disney Illuminations” at Disneyland Paris, you’re front and center for the amazing special effects and fireworks at Sleeping Beauty Castle.  Prepare to hold your breath and “ahhhh” as the show recreates iconic Disney moments in ways you never thought possible!

Mickey plays host to a vast variety of current characters singing in both French and English.  Hearing “Let it Go” in french is beautiful.  As a Disney Produced show, it is, of course, very well done.  For the Disney Nerd in you, keep your eyes open for the items you’ve seen somewhere else before.  Perfect example, the water fountains in front of the castle and a bit of the animation early in the beginning is totally Disneyland Ca.’s World of Color.  At another point, we have the Disney Hollywood Studios Galactic Spectacular show front and center.

Disneyland Paris’ Illuminations (no relation at all to Epcot’s) is a great show.  It lets you see the successful elements of the last 10 years’ worth of Imagineering and practical experience combined in a very fun 20-minute escape from your day.  If you can, wait until nighttime and get all the lights off.
