Celebrating the Wonder of ‘Encanto’ with runDisney This Fall!
Did you know that 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company? Throughout the year, Guests will find celebrations and surprises in store as we all reflect on 100 years of Disney stories and storytellers, and the generations who have grown up with Disney magic.
Throughout the celebration, Disney 100 will showcase fans’ favorite stories and beloved characters with monthly themes. This February, we’re highlighting one fantastical and magical family from the Academy Award winning Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “Encanto”! And though here at runDisney we’re not quite ready to spill the beans on the full theme for our 2023 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join the celebration and share a sneak peek of the theme for just one of the events!
When you run the 2023 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon at Walt Disney World Resort, or in any destination of your choosing as a virtual participant, you’ll be cheered on by none other than Mirabel and the family Madrigal!
Participants are invited to pull up a chair at the family table and join the family Madrigal on a journey to discover what else they can do when they push through the surface pressure! What better way to celebrate an accomplishment, like crossing that coveted finish line, than with good food and good company?
