“30 Days of Disney” Coming to Freeform this September

Disney fans love to relax at home and watch Disney movies. Let’s face it, for most of us, our love of Disney began with the films. Well, Freeform has us covered next month with “30 Days of Disney!”

Freeform will be airing some of our favorite movies from Disney, Marvel, and Pixar all during September. They will theme each week and it will highlight the best Disney villains, singalongs, pirates, and more. Then if you didn’t get enough during the week, the weekend will be full of more classic Disney films!

This is also Disney’s chance to showcase and provide behind-the-scenes looks at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. There will be a two-hour special called Galaxy’s Edge- Adventure Awaits. The special will premiere on Sunday, September 29th at 8 pm EST. Neil Patrick Harris will host the special as we learn more about Galaxy’s Edge and how the planet Batuu came to be! There will also be celebrity guests: Kaley Cuoco, Keegan-Michael Key, Jay Leno, Sarah Hyland, Miles Brown, and more. Walt Disney Imagineers and Disney Cast Members will help tell the story of this amazing addition to Disney Parks!

D23.com describes the special:

“The special will follow Harris as he meets up with Key for some laughs in Oga’s Cantina and takes a tour of Batuu; Hyland will learn about the tensions between the First Order and the Resistance and create her own droid at the Droid Depot; Leno will explore Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, inside and out, and Cuoco will take a special peek inside the highly anticipated and out-of-this-world attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opening December 5, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and January 17, 2020, at Disneyland park.”

We knew Disney doesn’t wasn’t going to miss an opportunity to show us this major expansion in Disneyland and Walt Disney World!

But back to “30 Days of Disney!”

During “30 Days of Disney,” Freeform will premiere Iron Man, Disney’s Pete’s Dragon, Newsies: The Broadway Musical, and Tomorrowland, as well as a special airing of the Disney Channel original movie Descendants 3. These films have not been shown on Freeform yet. During this Disney-filled month, Freeform will show a special Disneyland photo series with influencers celebrating the Disney bounding culture. If you’ve never heard of Disney bounding, it is simply when Disney fans dress up as versions of their favorite characters using contemporary clothes. In addition to the Disneyland photo series, Freeform will showcase some Disney fans showing their love of all things Disney!

Curious about what will be playing next month of Freeform?
